e latched on around 2pm (his second attempt) for about 5 minutes. His third attempt at 8pm was a complete success. He latched on and actively nursed for 20 minutes on one side. Then he fell asleep and used me as a pillow. I am so proud of him. I know it’s mainly instinct that’s driving his nursing ability right now and it’s no guarantee that he’ll still be able to do so when he’s 3 months old and loses that instinct but right now, I take what I can get. It’s still a milestone, no matter how small. Good job Wyatt, keep it up the good work. You are so strong, stronger than any of us! |
